The Wide Waters Garden Railroad
The Wide Waters Garden Railroad first began operation in the summer of 2000.
Its popularity was both immediate and overwhelming.
Big plans are underway for a complete rebuild of the line beginning in 2001.
Investing in the Wide Waters Garden Railroad
The WWGR is planning an ex(t/p)ensive expansion to begin in 2001,
featuring a 100' main line, independent two-train operation,
two yards, and many bridges.
There are a number of ways you can invest in the Wide Waters Garden Railroad:
1. Donate Track
There's no such thing as "too much track"! More track will always be needed,
at least for the foreseeable future, and track represents the largest
anticipated capital expenditure.

2. Donate Rolling Stock
So far, the WWGR has a limited roster of rolling stock,
which limits our capacity to move freight and passengers.

3. Buy Your Own Rolling Stock
Visiting rolling stock is always welcome on the WWGR!
Any G gauge equipment is welcome, but for full compliance with WWGR standards,

4. Join a Work Crew!
There will be a number opportunities to participate in the construction
of the new WWGR, including at least one dedicated WWGR weekend.
